Website design and management
In the course Digital Tools and Channels, we put theory into practice by creating our own digital company, SØM Gjenbruk. We divided main responsibilities within the team, and this was my first experience working as a Website Manager.
This was definitely the course I gained the most from — a steep learning curve that ended with an A on the final exam! We covered everything from idea and concept development, strategy, and user testing, to digital analytics, social media campaign development, CRM and Google Ads.
SØM´s website is still up, so feel free to take a look here!

Tag manager, GA4 and Hotjar
In my role as Website Manager, I had to learn a range of tools I’d never used before. Among these were WordPress and Elementor, which I used to design and build the website. This was also my introduction to working with analytical tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Hotjar and Google Tag Manager.
Value proposition
“In a world where the need to make sustainable choices keeps growing, SØM Gjenbruk seizes the opportunity to make circular shopping easier and more inspiring — while also rewarding users who contribute to the selection.”
